Rochester Thanksgiving Day Run 8 km & USATF Niagara Association Championships 11-25-2010
11-30-2010 - Thanks for putting on a great race. I wasn't expecting to run a race over Thanksgiving, but I saw the packet pickup at the Medved store and got sold. I couldn't have found a better race! I was very happily surprised with the organization, course, and support. I'll definitely be running it again next time my family and I come to Rochester for Thanksgiving!Andrew Ciarfalia of Reston, VA

November 25th - Blue Cross Arena, Rochester, 370 registered participants signed up for the 1st Annual Rochester Thanksgiving Day 8 km Run & Walk. Not bad numbers for a first year event. Participants were real happy to be inside the warm Blue Cross Arena prior to the start because of the cold weather. Parking was plentiful in the nearby Festival Parking Lot. Short waits for those registering. Ample food was available after the race provided by Tops Friendly Markets. Thank you to Medved Running & Walking provided awards for age group winners.
