 2011 Niagara Association Open & Masters Championships.
 Johnny’s Runnin’ of the Green 5 Mile will host our 5 Mile Championships on Saturday, March 12th, which is the unofficial kick off to the running season for each New Year. The course runs from Blue Cross Arena on Exchange at Broad to the University of Rochester Campus and back. Last year’s event saw 1,608 finishers. The event hands out open prize money awards for 1st place -$500, 2nd place - $250, and 3rd place -$100. 
USATF Niagara prize money awards: Open Men & Women = 1-$250, 2-$125, and 3-$50 with time performance bonus of $200 for Men under 24:30 & Women under 27:45 and Masters Men & Women = 1-$100 and $200 bonus for age graded over 89%. To be eligible Niagara Championship Awards must be a current 2010 USATF Niagara Association Member - To become a USATF Member visit: www.USATF-Niagara.org.
C. Fred Joslyn, of East Syracuse won the 2010 event in 24:39 with Neal Holtschulte of Rochester in 2nd place with 24:31, and Mark Andrews of Rochester was a close 3rd in 24:40. Marina Muncan of Ardmore, PA took first place women’s honors in 28:11, Elizabeth Carey of Syracuse was 2nd in 29:07, and Trisha Byler of Rochester was 3rd in 29:36. Overall master’s winners were Earl Steinbecher of Willseyville in 27:32 and Audra Naujokas-Knapp of Rochester in 33:37.
