The Haiti Relief 5k Run and Walk is an event to assist in
the recovery in the earthquake ravaged country.
People all over the
world, including doctors, military, and major relief groups, have joined
together to offer help to the people of Haiti in the aftermath of this
disaster. These people and organizations share a common belief: Our world
extends beyond our immediate borders and we have the capacity to help those in
need, and we will help.
We might not be able to travel to Haiti or offer
our skills to save lives, but if we share in that belief, we can provide hope
and basic necessities of survival for the Haitian people.
