2010 USATF Niagara Association Championships 1,200 or more runners will line up in Highland Park, Rochester, for the Medved Lilac 10 km. The event hands out open prize mone y awards for 1st place $600, 2nd place $400, 3rd place $275, 4th place $150, and 5th place $100 and masters prize money of $125
for 1st place.
USATF Niagara prize money awards: Open Men & Women = 1-$250, 2-$125, and 3-$50 with time performance bonus of $200
for Men under 31:00 & Women under 35:00 and Masters Men & Women = 1-$100
and $200 bonus for age graded over 89%. To be eligible Niagara Championship Awards must be a current 2010 USATF Niagara

In 2009 Mark Andrews of Henrietta, pictured right, who was 3rd place overall in 31:14, took home the Men’s Open Title and Maureen McCandless of Syracuse easily won the Open Women's Championship in 33:41, which was the fastest women's time since 1990. Chris Mattingly, 43, of Orchard Park won the Masters Men's Championship with a time of 34:25 and Amy Fakterowitz, 41, of Williamsville won the Masters Women's Championship running 40:29. Kaitlan O’Sullivan of Syracuse was 2nd Niagara women’s finisher in 35:57 and Vanessa Martell of Penfield was 3rd in 37:28. Dave Bradshaw of Macedon was Niagara’s 2nd men’s finisher and Aaron Robertson of Rouses Point was 3rd in 32:05
