When paying for Sanction Fees they MUST be paid by two checks and mailed with your completed and signed Application for Sanction; one payable to USATF for the national fee and one to USATF Niagara for the association fee. You can also now choose to pay Sanction Fees online here and mail your Application for Sanction separately. The fees are based on the number of estimated finishers in the event, and need to be paid up front. After the event you are required to complete and sign a Post Event Report form within 15 days, fees will be refunded if numbers are lower than estimated, and must be paid up if pre-event estimates were low.
