The USATF Niagara Association is one of 57 associations across the entire United States, which make-up the state of New York west of and including counties of Oswego, Onondaga, Cortland and Broome. It draws its elected officers and committee chairpersons from these constituencies.
The Niagara Association holds over 30 Championships for Men and Women, Youth (7-18), Open (19-39), and Masters (40-100+) in 5 major disciplines, Track and Field, Long Distance Running (LDR), Cross Country (XC), Mountain, Ultra, Trail (MUT), and Race Walking. These Championships are open to USATF Niagara members of any ability and attempt to recognize it's members with special medals and sometimes cash awards for their performance. USATF Niagara will also on occasion host a Regional or National Championship. The USATF Niagara Association provides many valuable services including providing much needed liability insurance coverage to nearly 300 sanctioned events annually.
