2015 USATF Niagara Junior Olympic Cross Country is warming up.
This year Niagara also hosts the Region 2 meet, as we did in 2012. Both meets will be held at Black Creek Park, near Rochester, NY as we did in 2012. The courses will be the same for both meets, and the same we did in 2012. Are you seeing a theme? The reason for this, we will also be holding the Open Championships after the Region 2 Championships (as we did in 2012) and need 6 distances with a common start and finish. We were very happy with the courses in 2012 and received some nice feedback from the other Associations.

USATF Youth Programs
USATF provides classroom activities for elementary students.
Better grades, better students
95% of teachers we asked said using GoNoodle improved academic performance. True story
There’s a short brain break activity for every part of the day.
Calm the classroom or energize your students depending on the time of day.
Win with Integrity
On the non-competitive side, USATF's "Win With Integrity" program showcases star athletes speaking with local schools about the importance of fitness, a healthy lifestyle, living with integrity--including a drug-free life--and setting goals. "Win With Integrity" has been enthusiastically embraced by USATF athletes and the students to whom they speak. Watch for "Win With Integrity" in your area!
USATF Coaches Background Screening
All coaches and volunteers working with youth athletes are required to have a background check. USA Track & Field will use TC LociQ for all background checks. This is the only format of background check accepted. Anyone with a completed background check for their job must still have one performed by TC LogiQ .

USATF DRUG TESTING at Youth Nationals & Junior Olympics
The USATF Youth Committee voted to begin drug testing this year at the Youth National & Junior Olympic Meets. The committee is being proactive by taking this step and setting up a testing program . Last year was an introduction year with the athletes watching a video showing the drug testing process and procedures. This year the drug testing will begin. Testing will be done on the Intermediate and Young Men/Women age divisions and will NOT be restricted to medal winners. Athlete selection for testing will be random by competitor number.
